Due to unsafe indoor temperatures caused by delayed air-conditioning activation, the U.S. Consulate General Wuhan has temporarily suspended visa interview appointments. Waiting room temperatures have reached up to 33°C (91°F), and applicants have faced prolonged outdoor waits without shade due to additional security procedures imposed by building management.
We are actively working with the building management to address these conditions. Visa services will resume only after we can ensure the health and safety of both applicants and staff.
