A foreign national named Na was arrested at a bar in Beijing’s Sanlitun district after attempting to sell drugs, including methamphetamine and cocaine. Police discovered 14.01 grams of the narcotics hidden in his socks. The Chaoyang District Court ruled that Na’s actions constituted drug trafficking and sentenced him to 7.5 years in prison, along with a fine and confiscation of illegal proceeds. Upon completing his sentence, he will face deportation.
