According to the Department of Consular Affairs of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visa – free agreement between the governments of China and Uzbekistan will come into effect on June 1, 2025. Under this agreement, holders of valid Chinese diplomatic, service, or ordinary passports, as well as Uzbek citizens with ordinary passports, can enter, exit, or transit through the other country without a visa. However, the visa – free stay is limited to 30 days per visit, with a cumulative maximum of 90 days within any 180 – day period. And those who plan to stay in the other country for more than 30 consecutive days or engage in activities like residing, working, studying, journalism, or other matters requiring prior authorization must obtain the appropriate visa before entry.
