The Chinese Embassy in India has announced the introduction of an online visa application system for Indian nationals, set to commence operations on 22 December 2025. This initiative is designed to streamline the visa application process and enhance travel facilitation between the two nations.
As per the embassy’s official notification, applicants will be able to submit their forms and upload required documents directly through the new digital platform, accessible via the official website. The Chinese Ambassador to India highlighted this development on social media, advising prospective travelers to visit the portal for further details.
The online system will be available at: visaforchina.cn/DEL3_EN/qianzhengyewu.
Meanwhile, the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in New Delhi will remain operational during its regular business hours, with no changes to its address or contact information.
This move is part of the confidence-building measures established earlier in 2025 to strengthen bilateral relations and promote greater people-to-people exchanges.
