On December 22, a woman in Nanning, located in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, reported being harassed by a foreign man. Local authorities have confirmed that they are actively investigating the incident.
Surveillance footage captured the incident around 8:28 p.m., showing the man approaching the woman and hugging her from behind while she was having coffee. The woman managed to free herself from his grip and, after putting down her phone, confronted him directly. In a social media post, she revealed that the man who harassed her was a foreign national.
On December 23, personnel from the Qingxiu Mountain Police Station confirmed that the woman had officially reported the incident the previous night. The case is currently under investigation by the officers on duty.
