The 27th Harbin Ice-Snow World, the planet’s largest ice-and-snow theme park, will open on Dec 17, 2025​ at 10:00​ in Harbin, Heilongjiang. Spanning a record 1.2 million square meters​ with 400,000 cubic meters​ of ice and snow, this year’s “Ice and Snow, Fairy Tale World” features three main landscape axes, a large-scale themed parade, an outdoor stage, and a new 5,000-square-meter​ air-supported pavilion, plus smart lighting and AI​ interactivity. The lineup includes the Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival​ opening ceremony, international ice-sculpture contests, snow football and ice hockey, and a New Year’s Eve concert. Tickets are available via the park’s official WeChat​ account and platforms including Meituan​ and Alipay. A promotional adult ticket of 298 yuan​ runs Dec 17–23, after which the standard price of 328 yuan​ applies. Beyond the park, Harbin is also promoting the 1.5-million-square-meter Sun Island Snow Expo​ and a Songhua River ice-and-snow carnival with around 260​ snow sculptures and 60​ ice-and-snow entertainment projects.
