From May 1, Visa-Free for some Foreigners from this Country

The Agreement between the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Nauru regarding Mutual Visa Exemption for Holders of Specific Categories of Passports is set to come into force on May 1, 2025.

Under this agreement, those in possession of valid Chinese diplomatic passports, service passports, or service/official ordinary passports, as well as holders of valid Nauruan presidential passports, diplomatic passports, or official passports, are not required to obtain visas when entering, leaving, or transiting through the territory of the other contracting party. The visa – free stay is restricted to a maximum of 30 days per visit, and the cumulative stay within any 180 – day period shall not exceed 90 days.

In case individuals intend to stay longer than the durations stated above, or plan to engage in activities like employment, study, residence, or journalism, which necessitate prior approval from the relevant authorities of the other party, they are obliged to apply for the appropriate visa prior to entering the country.
